About Me

Sophie Gentilini completed her degree in Psychopathology in 2003 at University of Paris X, France.

She worked as a school counselor and psychotherapist for several years including 7 years in West Africa. She moved in Calgary during the summer of 2011.

Part of wild fires recovery team in Fort Mc Murray for a few years as well as social and family support worker for aboriginal family services in Alberta.

She enjoys all aspects of mental health and her expertise is in early childhood and play therapy as well as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) approach. She also enjoys working with patients who have various health issues and those experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, stress management, PTSD and addictions. She also offers couple session and skype counseling for francophones outside Calgary.

Sophie Gentilini is bilingual in French and English.
